MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested Irvin Eugene Griffin, 78, of Milledgeville, on child molestation charges. Griffin and his wife operate Griffin Group Home Day Care, located at 440 Underwood Road in a residential neighborhood off South Elbert Street.
Griffin was taken into custody at his home and booked at the Baldwin County Jail, following a request from the Milledgeville Police Department (MPD) made on November 5.
According to the state GBI press release, the daycare serves children ranging from 13 months to 5 years old. Officials said the investigation remains active, and additional victims may be involved.

Once the GBI completes its investigation, the case will proceed to the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
