VIDEO: Rep. Nancy Mace Accused of Fabricating Gang Rape Allegations to Blackmail Ex-Fiancé, Lawsuit Claims

WASHINGTON, D.C. — South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace is facing serious allegations in a new lawsuit filed by her ex-fiancé, Patrick Bryant, who claims she fabricated sexual assault accusations and hacked his phone in an effort to gain control of their jointly owned properties, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

Bryant, a Charleston-based software developer, alleges in his 19-page complaint that Mace conspired with a friend to blackmail him after their breakup. The lawsuit claims Mace hacked into Bryant’s phone the day after their split and later used personal data obtained from his device to make false claims.

Bryant accuses Mace of convincing a young woman—referred to as “Jane Doe”—that she had been gang raped by Bryant and two of his friends at a 2018 party, despite no memory of such an event. The complaint alleges Mace told the woman she had discovered a video of the assault on Bryant’s phone, a claim the lawsuit calls “entirely fabricated.”

The filing also states Mace told political consultant Wesley Donehue that she would use data from Bryant’s phone to force him to surrender ownership of their two jointly owned homes valued at about $6 million. According to the lawsuit, Mace allegedly instructed Donehue to tell Bryant she would make “photographs public” if he refused.

Bryant further alleges that Mace repeatedly called him after their breakup, alternating between expressing a desire to reconcile and threatening to expose the fabricated material.

The complaint accuses Mace and her associate of forming “an elaborate scheme for their personal gain,” stating that no such assault or video ever existed.

As of publication, Rep. Mace has not publicly responded to the allegations. The case remains under legal review.
